In  The  Texas  Hill  Country
Gardner Ranch, established in 1879 by John F. and Mary Gardner, is a fifth generation working ranch.

The ranch is located on the head-waters of Maynard Creek in Western Kimble County, Texas.

Gardner Ranch runs Angus Cattle, Angora Goats, and a quality hunting operation.

Our ranch has been intensively managed in cooperation with the Parks & Wildlife Managed Land program for approximately ten years.

In 2003, the ranch enclosed approximately 3,000 acres dedicated to the hunting operation.  Native Whitetail deer (no introduced genetics) dominate the deer herd.   The "Level 3" MLD herd consist of 300 - 400 animals with a 1:1 buck to doe ratio.

We have been building our herds through genetic control and careful aging process. Our hi-protein feeding program has produced Trophy Class Bucks, that hunters dream of hanging on their walls.

If you are looking to experience the excitement of Texas Whitetail hunting in the Texas Hill Country, the Gardner Ranch is a perfect destination.
